Well, the fly press is still on the floor and that makes it tough to see what's going on under the press. Fine control just is not going to happen.  Even so, I was anxious to try out the new press on significant piece of metal before I threw the chased pattern under there and possibly lost all this work.  Here's a quick bowl - I think it came out okay. I added the leaf to make it a little more expressive. Would have liked it a bit deeper, but this is about as tall as my forge will handle. [About 7"D x 1.5" deep, 1/4" mild steel plate]
