Bowls for columbine

The next adventure begins.  I've been trying to start chasing for quite some time, and something seems to always get in the way.  This seems like at good time to start. I've started a series of bowls that will be donated to various causes related to the arts, but to school shooting victims as well.  The first of these is the Columbine Bowls.  Blue Columbines are the Colorado state flower and, unfortunately, the name of the location for the shootings that took place on 20 April, 1999. Scrounging bits of scrap tool steel from around the shop to forge some chasing tools. The (blue) Columbine will be chased on the inside of a rather deep bowl (7"D, 3" deep), the leaf is to be forged in bronze and brazed on the inside (inspired by a recent bowl by @dirtysmith). The bronze leaf is a big reach for me so it may have to wait for the second iteration. #donation #columbinemassacre #stonemanshooting
